All contact lenses are prescribed medical devices used to both correct refractive errors (near-sightedness, astigmatism, etc), and to treat a number of eye conditions such as keratoconus, irregular corneas, and post-surgical complications. We also provide comprehensive education on how you can keep your eyes healthy and safe since contact lenses, if not cared for properly, can result in major sight threatening complications.

You may not need vision insurance to cover your eye exam and additional testing. Optometrists can bill medical insurance when you have a medical diagnosis such as diabetes, "red eyes", flashes/floaters, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and emergent services such as removal of foreign bodies from your eyes.
