B-Town Eyecare wants you to be aware of the steps we are taking to protect our patients, staff and providers from COVID-19. We are dedicated to the safety of our colleagues and patients during this unprecedented time.

We are following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as our state and county officials in regards to performing elective procedures. While we do not treat those suffering from COVID-19, every precaution is being taken to prevent the spread of the virus and ensure our facility remains a safe environment for all.

Additional safety measures include:

Health Screenings

We are screening all patients, visitors, and providers upon arrival to include temperature check prior to entering facility and assessment of any travel, virus exposure, or experience with related symptoms.

Visitors

We are limiting visitors to one responsible adult; after registration they will be asked to wait in their car.

Social Distancing

We are implementing social distancing in our waiting room. All waiting areas are also reserved for patients only.

Face Masks

B-Town Eyecare is a healthcare facility. All patients will be given a surgical mask to wear during their visit to the office unless they have a verified medical exemption. Universal masking is required for all who enter our facility.

PPE

All staff are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gowns and eyewear as deemed appropriate for their duties.

CDC Guidelines

Our doctor and staff are following strict CDC and OSHA requirements for disinfection of rooms, handwashing, and use of protective equipment including masks, face shields, or goggles and gloves as appropriate.

Checking In for Your Appointment

We will provide a text or email with instructions on how to complete your registration forms remotely. If you wish to complete paperwork on paper, we can email copies of the forms, you may pick up a copy at our office, or we can also mail them to you via USPS.

Optical Frame Gallery

We are ensuring our frames are properly sanitized between patients. We have trays in our optical area for all frames you may want to look at and try on. Our staff will use to ensure all frames are cleaned before adding them back to our frame walls in the optical gallery.
